What to check before renting a van?

To make sure your van rental goes smoothly and without surprises, it is worth checking a few important things before booking and at pickup. Here is a short checklist.

Before booking

• What the price includes: the number of free kilometres and the cost of extra ones.
• Insurance: the scope of basic cover and the option of full insurance with no deductible.
• Deposit: the amount and how it is refunded.
• Driving abroad: whether it is allowed and whether vignettes are needed.

At vehicle pickup

Together with our staff, inspect the vehicle thoroughly and photograph any existing damage. Check the fuel level — you return the van with the same amount — and that the lights and tyres are in order.
